When you contact Nourish to book a consultation, I will send you a digital questionnaire and a food diary form for you to complete and bring to the consultation.
Initial consultation (1.5 hours): You and I will discuss your reasons for coming to Nourish, and establish your health goals. I will take a full case history, giving you time to talk about your health concerns and present symptoms.
I will also use kinesiology techniques to assess and correct nutrient deficiencies/excesses, food intolerances, organ or system imbalances and much more.
At the end of the consultation, I will share my initial thoughts about your health and offer dietary recommendations, giving you advice verbally and in the form of guidelines and handouts. I might also recommend nutritional supplements, lab tests, and make lifestyle suggestions such as relaxation and exercise.
Your therapeutic plan will take into account your likes and dislikes, lifestyle and personal circumstances, and will include clear guidelines on foods that you should add to your diet and any that you need to avoid.
Follow up consultations (1 hour 15 mins): I usually recommend between one and three follow-up consultations depending on your health problems and goals. We will discuss your progress with the diet and any supplements, monitor any existing or new symptoms, explain any lab test results and make any necessary changes to your diet and/or supplements.
Please note: although I offer both nutritional therapy and kinesiology at our practice, kinesiology is an entirely separate discipline to nutritional therapy, and is covered by a different professional body, The Association of Systematic Kinesiology (ASK), of which I am a member.
My fees reflect the addition of kinesiology testing and the amount of work involved, not only during the face to face consultation at Nourish, but also after our meeting when I will typically spend time researching your health concerns and finalising your plan.
All fees cover the consultation itself, your therapeutic plan and additional handouts. Any recommended supplements and laboratory tests are additional.
The fee also includes reasonable email contact after the consultation, with simple queries relating to the appointment or your therapeutic plan, or management of any side effects – I will endeavour to answer any questions within 24 hours during working hours. Any work in excess of this (including research, answering emails, laboratory test result interpretation, phone calls) will be charged at a rate of £30 per 30 minutes.

I am registered with the private health insurance company PruHealth – please contact them directly to find out the procedure for making a claim for a nutritional therapy consultation.
Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment – this gives me time to offer your slot to another person. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at 50% of the consultation fee. Missed appointments are charged at the full consultation fee. I reserve the right to waive the fee under exceptional circumstances.
